Tuesday’s Devotional

1 Corinthians 15:33

Do not be misled: “Bad company corrupts good character.”

I want to write about friendships today. A lot of times we have friends in our lives for a season and sometimes we have them for life. But just as this verse states, chose your friends wisely. Everyone has that one friend that they should have parted ways with but didn’t. Whether for good reasons like continuing to minister to them to change their life or bad ones like negative symbiotic relationships. Sometimes there comes a point when you have to say enough is enough. But what do I do? First and foremost pray for them. Secondly let them know that they are simply bad company and they are effecting your life in a negative manner. Sometimes you need to be honest and blunt. I have had this happen to me multiple times and it was not easy, but if it is effecting your family you must choose a bad friend or your family.  I hope this helps someone today that is having issues with bad company.
