I pray that today everyone takes some time and remember those who fought in our past to make this wonderful country Independent.

As a former Marine Staff Sergeant, I take pride in my time serving this country just like the thousands of military members both currently active duty and veterans. We take pride in this country because we all were willing to lay down our lives for it. It is a title that only about 7% of Americans have earned.

I also want to write a little about spiritual freedoms. It was written, “But now that you have been freed from sin and have become God’s slaves, the benefit you reap is sanctification, and the result is eternal life. For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in union with the Messiah Jesus our Lord,” (Romans 6:22-23,ISV).

I want everyone to remember the freedom that Jesus Christ provided us. I was a sinner deserving of death and condemnation, but Jesus said my life when I gave it up to Him. He releases this loving hand to each one of you out there that have not yet found salvation in His love.

May God bless you all and enjoy today!
